When you live in a city your entire life, you take on its identity as part of your own. Syracuse is more than just a place on a map; to me, it is part of my heart, mind and soul. It gives me great pride to have lived in the 1st district for 39 years, specifically, on North Salina Street, Willow Street, John Street, Mayar Street and Rugby Road. I am a first-generation college graduate and hold both a bachelor’s and master’s degree. While my education is one of my greatest accomplishments, I am most proud of my family—my husband Tom of 25 years, our two daughters, Sophie and Kate, and our two schnauzers, Romeo and King!
I have nearly two decades of professional experience working both in the public and private sector, and more recently, an extensive track record as a committed community volunteer and advocate. The culmination of my Syracuse upbringing, education and experience has prepared and inspired me to seek the 1st District Council seat. It would give me great honor to be part of the team (Common Council) that helps make Syracuse an even better place to live, work and raise a family. I promise to be an advocate for all Syracuse residents and to have an open line of communication. The Syracuse community is my family, and I am committed to bringing success for all. Please vote for me in the Onondaga County GENERAL ELECTION on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Thank you for your consideration and support.
